Have you into falls in Cebu? Maybe? One of the popular falls in Cebu is Kawasan Falls which located in Badian, Cebu. Most who tried to intend to go Kawasan Falls will go first in the popular Osmena Peak to climb.
How about an adventure of climbing and falls in one place? A unique adventure to experience, right? That’s what Aguinid Falls offered to those who want to witness the stunning adventure of this fall.
Aguinid Falls has 6 levels of adventure which you will really enjoy. Some levels really take effort but I bet that after you reach each level you will amaze and enjoy the flowing water of the falls. Expect to get wet, fellaz!
October 2015, we experienced this adventure in Aguinid Falls. This adventure is a treat of Reveche Family when one of my friend Jez Reveche having a short vacation in Cebu came from Papua New Guinea. It such an honor us friends to include in this wonderful vacation with her family.
From the hotel, we’re lucky that one of the relatives of her have this one big van which is perfect for an adventure for us. Exciting!
Aguinid Falls has 6 levels open for public but as per guide there’s more level but it’s extreme. We need to pay an entrance fee of PHP20 per head. Along with our adventure, each group required 2 technical guides.
Before we proceed to this adventure, we ate first at the starting point of Aguinid Falls in this small and only store in Aguinid Falls. They are the one maintained the cleanliness of this natural wonder. We need to eat since we will take an adventure trail of falls.
After eating our lunch, let’s get it on! and we are ready to bound on the level 0.
Aguinid Falls Level 0
Aguinid Falls Level 1
Oh! common! Mam Jez? What’s with that eyes? hahaha
Aguinid Falls Level 2
You need to climb in this level. Prepare yourself and better ask for guidance from the technical guide.
Aguinid Falls Level 3
Aguinid Falls Level 4
Aguinid Falls Level 5
This is the last level open for public.
They have Level 7 and 8 but you really need to be careful and asked for assistance of the technical guide that was assigned to you. They know more than you do.
I would like to thank Jez Marie Reveche and her family for inviting us over to this trip. A very tiring but a good and adventure day.
How to get there?
From Cebu South Bus Terminal in Cebu City, ride a Bato-Barili Ceres bus route. Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Barangay Aguinid near Samboan proper. From highway, ride a tricycle to the reception area. You will be then guided to Aguinid Falls after paying an entrance fee with the technical guide.
Bato-Barili Ceres bus route leaves every hour starting 2AM. The last trip to Cebu City is 7pm from Samboan.
