Bohol is a place where it’s belong to Region VII (Central Visayas) where Cebu is part of it? Do you know that Bohol is not only popular in Chocolate Hills? Yes, there are still lot of places to discover and to enjoy as a tourist.

I traveled Bohol for more than 2 years ago.. Haha.. But I just post this now since I don’t have my own travel blog. So, I will share to my Top 5 Tourist Destination in Bohol you must visit and not to miss it if you want to go out with stress in the city.

  1. Chocolate Hills

    – Yes, when go to talk about Bohol. The first place you would think is the Chocolate Hills. The aftermath of the earthquake is still there but they’re fixing it but the beautiful looks of Chocolate Hills is still stunning.

    – When we tried this restaurant, it’s already evening but the lights is still stunning but it’s scary than I thought because of the trees which makes darker. Haha but it’s fine since in every spot, you will enjoy the music they offer.
  3. Adventure Parks

    – Where you can enjoy Zipline, Cable Car, Sky Cycling and a lot more. Try to visit one of this eco parks. Bohol Adventure Park, Sui-Slide Zipline Bohol, Chocolate Hills Adventure Park, Danao Adventure Park. Miss anyone?
  4. Bohol Zoo
    Bohol also offer several Zoo for the tourist. What animal that Bohol is known for? Snake, Tarsier are among of them. Try to visit Zoocolate Thrills Theme Park where you can see a a tarsiers but unfortunately, the biggest python snake name Prony died last August 14, 2013. Prony was one of the tourist attraction in Bohol. You can also try to visit Alburquerque Zoo, Bohol Mini-zoo where they have tarsiers if you want to see tarsier.
  5. Panglao Island
    Looking for a getway from stress in the city and wanted to go to Bohol? Panglao Island is suit for your needs today. Panglao Island is known for the white beach resort. They said it will consider as Mini-Boracay together with Malapascua Island. It’s perfect for instagram.. Hahaha

Hopefully, you can visit those of the 5 places or recommendation if you’re going to visit in Bohol.

  2. Yes, there are so much to do in Bohol. During my sojourn, I stayed in Bohol for 7 days last 2 years ago just to make sure I was able to visit all the tourist destination, but my days of stay weren’t enough.

      With the Bayanihan Spirit of Boholanos.. they able to fix the damages cause by earthquake. Thanks also to the tourists and donations who keep going there..

  3. Tried some of the listed spots and they are indeed worth the while visiting. Been to Bohol thrice, I prefer Cafe Lawis in Dauis, the place is nice and romantic. The man-made forest also is a must-visit.. These spots are haven for a shutterbug like me πŸ˜€

  4. I’ve been to all but I did not get the chance to do the Plunge; I was maybe 2mos preggers that time. Haha. Maybe soon although I’m not sure if I would still be courageous enough to do it.

  5. It’s a shame I haven’t got the chance to check out chocolate hills and loboc river. I was able to check out Panglao island and it was amazing. πŸ™‚

  6. There’s so much you can do in Bohol and so many places to go. I can’t believe I’ve only been to Tagbilaran. I hope I can explore the whole island soon.

  9. Bohol Zoo is not frquently visited but tourists but it can be a side trip. Chocolate Hills is now very mainstream but di gihapon ko mapul-an bisan kapila nako nakakita. πŸ™‚

  10. I have to say that Bohol is one place where the relaxation game is real. Two weekends there and I got over my anxiety over a few stuff and cleared my mind.

  11. Visited most places sa list with my family a few months ago and we had an amazing time jud! Bohol is love jud! I fell in love with the little baguio nga road where ang mga trees kay naka-arc shape. So surreal! <3
